Colombia, the only risk is wanting to stay
Bogota
The country ́s capital is also its largest and most cosmopolitan city; Bogotá has earned a place as a must for any tourist who visits Colombia.
The Coffee Region
It’s made up by the departments of Caldas, Quindío and Risaralda. The major attractions of this region are not only coffee plantations; its people and their traditions, varied landscapes and traditional architecture that still adorns each of these coffee towns, are also as equally attractive as the national coffee. In addition the region was recognized by UNESCO as a Cultural Landscape of Humanity in 2011, which has caused a remarkable improvement of its tourism infrastructure.
Medellin
Colombia ́s second city has become the symbol of the dramatic change that the country has suffered in recent years. An active and thriving city with its own identity, Medellin welcomes tourists who usually end up overstaying. La Feria de las Flores (The Flowers Festival) is the flagship town celebration (late July to early August).
